Hello, I am Willie Terrell Montgomery Jr., the Creator and Designer of Sir Montie Designer Ties.  My idea for Sir Montie was birth out of my love for design, fashion and crafting.  I wanted to create something different and stylish, yet it needed to feed my passion for the whimsical.  So I got out some paper, some markers and started to design.

 

I drew on my over 25 years in the creative arts, doing everything from acting, singing, dancing, to writing, directing, and even designing (costume and set design.)  I even worked as an entertainer for the Walt Disney Resort in Orlando Florida.  That experience was life changing, inspiring me to bring little bit of the magic to my everyday fashion.  Sometimes, your day to day needs a little more than just a spoon full of sugar.   Enter Sir Montie . . .

At my core I am an artist.  As other artist know is can be hard to take your art with you in the “real world.”  Especially if art is not something you do for a living.  How do you stay true to yourself and still conservatively dress for your every day?  My hope is that Sir Montie becomes a suitable solution. 

 

As an entertainer, I love to make people happy and to make them smile.  You can’t break into song and dance in the middle of your office or on the subway, without people thinking that you lost your mind . . . though it has happened once or twice.  However, I found that I can bring smile and bit of magic to people through the creativity and uniqueness of my designs.
